photos: Martin Girard, Shoot Studio Guy began playing the violin at 4 years, immersed himself in learning the guitar at the age of 14 and played his first concert at 15. He played with diffetent bands. At 17, with the band Jim Bob and the Flying Chickens, he has contributed in the composition of several tracks and the group plays shows on a regular basis. The following year, he studied in computer-assisted sound design and perfected his skills in sound recording and mix. After working in a prestigious studio in Montreal, Guy continues with a former member of the group, Ian Couture, to compose and record music. In 1999, publishers took interested in their work. After composing music for a fashion show, a radio spot, a few web projects and produced over tracks, Guy and Ian took different paths. In the meanwhile, Guy continues his studies in management at HEC Montreal, where he is involved in various culturally oriented project, such as Ar-t-Fac, the Universities Show-Case. Following his B.B.A. with a minor in information technology, he undertook an MSc in Management of Information Systems. Working at the University, he rose rapidly through the ranks to the acting head of the Techno Pedagogy. Guy then decided to combine his two passions and created Expaz Mizouik with Joe Trepanier in 2006. Applying the principles of process reengineering and outsourcing, an innovative business model is set up to produce custom music. In 2007, Expaz opens his studio within walking distance of downtown Montreal. Since the launch of the company, the duo composed music for theater (theater tsunami), television (PVP, PVP Monde, Production Kaféïne), web, advertising (Taxi, Tournesol, Brad, Tank, Shoot Studio) and several short films. Two of these short films have been nominated at Aubagne International Film Festival (2008, 2009), winning the publics choice award in 2009 for "Terre des Hommes". The latter was also nominated for a Genie. On TV, Productions Vic Pelletier's "Terre d'échange" received four Gemini nominations. Expaz has produced over a hundred tracks to date, largely made by Guy and Joe. Parallel to his audio-visual activities, Guy is sound engineering, among other projects, Ian Kelly (Audiogram albums: Speak Your Mind (Certified Gold) Diamonds & Plastic), Doba (former Dobacaracol, EP 2009). He produced Remixes for Bad Flirt Remix (Cartel / Universal, Now No Joy), Covered in Blood, and worked with other local artists that are a little less known (Apogee, Karim Benzaïd (Syncope), Moudjik, Caldeira, Krokmitën) . Guy excels in detailed productions, dense and tweaked. His sounds is more "American", although it has demonstrated its ability to adapt to all situations. In music, his influences are rooted in rock & funk and extending to more extreme styles such as death metal and industrial. You can also feel his influences electro / trance / house in some of his works. Eclectic is the word that best describes the catalog and the skills of the multidisciplinary artist.

His artistic background stems from film and television, though it is in theater that his passion for dedicated music composition will first take form. Sensitive to the needs of every project and keen on strong communication between designers, Joé insists upon delivering a tailor-made product suited to the unique colors of each project.

	Louis Dupire
	Sound design, editing and boom operator

Louis Dupire has been working for about thirty years in the cinema industry. During his highly productive career as supervisor, sound designer, and technical operator, he worked with several great personalities of the medium, of whom Claude Jutra, Jean Beaudin, Erik Canuel, Jean-Marc Vallée, Gilles Carle, Rock Demers... Many documentaries, TV series, short and feature-length films, shoot throughout the world, appear to his credit. He deserved several recognitions for the quality of his sound productions, including five Gémeaux Prices.

Songwriter,composer and performer . Naila-Marie has been playing music since she was 6 . Has a Multi-intrumentist and song writer, she composed her first album entitled: Naila \"Compteuses d’Étoiles\" launched in 2008. In addition to her experience in composition and arrangement, she lends her voice to film scores, short films, tv themes and advertisements.

	David Thomas

He started the music and bass at the age of 13 years in self-taught and is very fast in various projects original compositions, made his first stamps for 16 years. During this period, the vocation itself, then decide to start studying music. After a few years of being low and improvisation, he fate of its major promotion from the M.A.I (International Music Academy) in 1994. During the same year he wrote the Original Soundtrack of a short film "Les Ambulanciers", he will keep this experience a willingness to work with sound and image. Before moving to Montreal in 2007, primarily as bassist he exercised his profession as a musician, he was very present on the French scene and especially Paris. The jazz, fusion, funk, soul, pop, house music are his favorite areas, he played in various formations in the main clubs in Paris (le Sunset, le Baiser salé, le Petit Journal, la Scène, le Réservoir, le Triton…) and concert halls (l’Olympia, le Bataclan…). Surrounded by Dj's "Trouble men" and other musicians, he experienced during a 2-year project original house music live : le Savannah House Band. He participated in numerous recording sessions for various labels (Kif Record, Blockheadz Recordingz, Tejal Records...) and independent artists. He also accompanied a few big names artists, can be seen with Laura Pausini, Lena K, Lâam, Suber, Assia. Fascinated by computers and new technologies, it is natural that he has the computer-assisted music. In parallel to the scene, the studio sessions or teaching of the bass, its main projects are therefore around the composition of film music, jingles or music sound illustration.
